Digital product policy
Commercial synthetic datasets are digital products. Because access is granted to downloadable commercial data files, completed purchases are generally final after repository access has been delivered.
Refunds may be approved when
- Repository access cannot be delivered after the buyer provides a valid Hugging Face username.
- The buyer was charged twice for the same dataset package.
- The delivered dataset materially differs from the purchased dataset description.
- A checkout or delivery error prevents access and cannot be fixed within a reasonable time.
Refunds are generally not available when
- The buyer has already received access and downloaded the dataset.
- The buyer changes their mind after delivery.
- The buyer expected consulting, custom software, or a different dataset category that was not part of the purchased package.
